This course is perfect for students who need to work on their English language skills before beginning their pathway course studies. If students do not meet the entry requirements for their chosen course, Pre-Sessional English may be a great entryway.
Why study Pre-Sessional English through Holmes Institute Pathways?
Studying Pre-Sessional English through HI:P allows students to remain on one Visa throughout the entire duration of their studies. There’s no need to re-apply for another visa after this course.
This course will also help students build their confidence and understanding of the English language so they can succeed in their further academic studies.
How will you be assessed?
You will be assessed in multiple ways, including:
- An open book exam
- A reading task
- A listening task
Will you need another Visa after you finish your pathway programme?
No. When you undertake an English Pre-Sessional programme with Holmes Institute Pathways, you will be on the same Visa for all four years of study! No need to re-apply at the end of your pathway programme.
What are the technical requirements for this course?
- A laptop or a desktop computer with a stable Internet connection. Note that mobile devices are not appropriate devices for this course.
- A webcam, speakers, and a microphone.
- Google Chrome installed.
